Times Herald-Record letters to the editor
I was engaged this past weekend in conversation with an officer employed at the Orange County Jail, when I mentioned my thoughts regarding Sheriff Carl Dubois' approval over the involvement of the Boy Scouts visiting the facility. I went on to say how decent a man the sheriff appears to be.
The officer spontaneously replied with "not only is Sheriff DuBois a decent man, but his whole administration is decent, fair and honest to work with, to work for." Wow, I thought to myself, what a powerful compliment made from someone within the walls.
I thought it appropriate that it should be shared with the community in which they all serve.
