K-9 team graduates from explosives school

Times Herald-Record

Montgomery - Who let the dogs out?

Why, the Orange County Sheriff's Office, of course. Deputy Edward Kania and his K-9 comrade, Hunter, were among 10 teams to graduate from the office's 12-week explosives detection school this week.

Their graduating class also included nine teams from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Sheriff Carl DuBois announced in a news release after a ceremony at Orange County Airport. The group was schooled by Orange County K-9 trainer James Cleary and representatives from the MTA and Yonkers city police.
