Sheriff's office receives money to combat drugs
Times Herald-Record
The Orange County Sheriff's Office will use $40,000 in new federal funding to augment its anti-narcotics efforts, Sheriff Carl DuBois announced in a news release yesterday.
The money, secured by state Sen. Thomas Morahan, R-C-New City, is part of the Edward Byrne Anti-Drug Program. Capt. Dennis Barry said the office will likely use the money to purchase equipment.
