On Sunday January 31, 2010, over 250 persons crowded into the Orange County Golf Club to hear Sheriff Carl DuBois formally announce to his supporters that he is running for a 3rd term as Orange County Sheriff.

On hand for the announcement were Assemblywoman Annie Rabbitt, County Executive Ed Diana, County Clerk Donna Benson, numerous County Legislators, Orange County Republican Chairman Bill Deprospo, and Judges Jeff Barry and Carol Klein, who are also running for re-election. Also turning out a large presence were labor unions of the Hudson Valley Building Trades, Dom Giudice, President of the Police Chiefs Association of Orange County, Ruben Estrada, Chairman of the Republican Hispanic National Assembly of Orange County, and many local elected officials.

Carl's victory in the September 2006 Republican Primary and unopposed victory in the November 2006 General Election sent a clear message that the residents of Orange County overwhelmingly approve of Carl's accomplishments and administration. He will again be campaigning on his accomplishments and successes over the last 7 years as your Sheriff.
